Born in 1969, he studied law at the Universities of Bonn, Hamburg, Bilboa (Spain) and Cologne. His doctorate dealt with questions concerning the responsibility of food business operators (Faculty of European Law at the University of Cologne). He was admitted to the bar in 1999.
Markus Grube in an experienced Food Lawyer, having worked in this area of law since 1999. He is also a specialized lawyer for the protection of Industrial Property Protection. Markus Grube is author of several legal books and numerous articles on food law, and a visiting lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück, Germany (Agricultural Sciences). He is a regular speaker at conferences on EU food law and food safety and organizer of and trainer in seminars in workshops on food law and food safety issues. He is the co-initiator of FLN.
