Born in Cologne, Germany in 1966, Dr. Kölcsey-Rieden studied law at the Westfälische-Wilhelms-University of Munster and the Rheinische-Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn. He was admitted to the bar in both Germany and in Hungary. Having practiced at several international law firms in Germany and Hungary, he has been a managing partner at Kölcsey-Rieden, Haslwanter & Partner Law Firm in Hungary since 2006.
Kölcsey-Rieden has specialized in food law since 2003, at a time when this was a relatively new legal area in Hungary. He possesses a broad range of experience in food labeling, product liability and food advertising and has considerable experience in litigation before all authorities. His areas of expertise also extend to drafting of commercial contracts and offering legal counsel to Hungarian companies on all areas of operation.
